IN THE BAKEHOUSE STUDIO THEATRE.
Renegade Productions is proud to present its latest opus "Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus", adapted from the novel by Mary Shelley.
Within the intricacies of Mary Shelley's classic horror tale humanity is exposed in the mutual destrucion of creator and creation. Taking a departure from the iconic green monster of shock horror cinema, "Frankenstein" seeks instead the unrelenting tension and moral crisis that is the cornerstone of the novel. The whirlwind of love, rejection, violence and redemption that plays out leaves in its wake a train of needless tragedy.
"Frankenstein" explores the fuzzy lines between what it is to be human in the intricate mix of performance, theatre and design that has become the signature of Renegade Productions.
