A Man for All Seasons

Wednesday, 15 January 2020 to Saturday, 18 January 2020

Henry VIII wants a new wife and he'll stop at nothing until he gets her. A Man for All Seasons charts the true historical story of Thomas More as he attempts to uphold the law and prevent Henry VIII from divorcing his first wife and marrying again. Robert Bolt's play spans several years and discusses truth, morality and the deadly lure of power. Ever current in our current political climate, A Man for All Seasons aims to find out what happens when the system goes wrong and when those in power are only in it for themselves.

IpSkip Productions is an independent Adelaide theatre company who has been producing plays at The Bakehouse Theatre since 2017. Our productions of Educating Rita, Charlotte's Web and Steel Magnolias have all been met with critical acclaim, and our most recent production of A Doll's House was nominated for Best Show - Drama and  Best Female Actress (Allison Scharber) at the Curtain Call Awards. This marks the start of our 2020 season.
