Don't miss the opportunity to see a Williamson classic that hasn't been produced in Adelaide for years.
Adapt Enterprises Pty. Ltd.
Gay marriage has been legalised in nineteen countries worldwide including Ireland most recently in May. Will Australia become one of these countries soon or will our definition of marriage remain traditional for some time?
Starring Cheryl Douglas supported by a talented local cast, “The Perfectionist” is a drama set in the 70s, about a love triangle involving a married couple and their Danish babysitter. With the idea of marriage broadening, this play demonstrates how power, trust and competitiveness within marriage are timeless.
Local Theatre Company Adapt Enterprises returns to the Bakehouse Theatre with ten performances from July 24 until August 8.
Teachers please note: It is recommended that Year 11 and 12 students attend on Wednesday July 29 or Wednesday August 5. Teacher complimentary and student prices can be arranged. Please contact Ross Vosvotekas at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS SHOW STARTS AT 7PM. BOX OFFICE AND BAR OPEN 6.30PM. LATECOMERS NOT ADMITTED
"If the good-hearted caterwauling of the audience in one scene on opening night was anything to go by, the play shows us just how far we have come in some areas in the last four decades, but it still seems relevant today and many of the issues remain topical"
Linda Edwards - Adelaide Theatre Guide
"Ross Vosvotekas has directed this production with a sharp pace and equally sharp perception, achieving a most satisfying, engaging mixture of credible drama and tangy humour."
