The Bald Prima Donna

Saturday, 4 July 2015 to Friday, 17 July 2015

Max's Masters comes flying back to present to you the tale of one exceptionally English couple and their farcical dinner party. Set against the backdrop of a 1940's war-torn London insanity ensues when their guests fail to arrive creating a set of unusual and peculiar events! Finally the unannounced visit of London's fire chief fashions a mess too intense even for the household maid, Mary to clean up.

Dark and witty yet fun and playful, a comedy taking on issues as heavy as war and global politics and as benign as the city's best yoghurt or the best fairy tale in all of the land. The Bald Prima Donna is sure to answer all of life's tricky questions while raising even more at the same time. Prepare to strap yourselves in for a night of zany comedy you will not soon forget.

After a sell-out season of David Williamson's gritty drama "The Removalists" in the 2014 Adelaide Fringe, Max's Masters is returning to perform one of the greats of absurdist theatre, Eugene Ionesco's  "The Bald Prima Donna".
