The Perfectionist
Gay marriage has been legalised in nineteen countries worldwide including Ireland most recently in May. Will Australia become one of these countries soon or will our definition of marriage remain traditional for some time?
Starring Cheryl Douglas supported by a talented local cast, “The Perfectionist” is a drama set in the 70s, about a love triangle involving a married couple and their Danish babysitter. With the idea of marriage broadening, this play demonstrates how power, trust and competitiveness within marriage are timeless.
Local Theatre Company Adapt Enterprises returns to the Bakehouse Theatre with ten performances from July 24 until August 8.
Teachers please note: It is recommended that Year 11 and 12 students attend on Wednesday July 29 or Wednesday August 5. Teacher complimentary and student prices can be arranged. Please contact Ross Vosvotekas at adaptenterprises@mail.com for more information.
