Stop Start is a play-for-one-person that begins in an embalming room. As his body fluids are drained away, a man experiences memories, dreams, and hallucinations that challenge his perception of his own history. This innovative play moves easily from the dramatic to the absurd, from the poignant to the perverse. A cartoon polar bear sells energy drinks; a man quietly watches over his nephew who is in a coma; a chocolate homunculus invites us all into an Aztec myth.
